Beginnings Preschool was founded on the belief that every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. As a Christian preschool, we instill values of kindness, compassion, and respect. We believe our unique storyline curriculum, combined with our focus on STEM, literacy, and the arts, provides a strong foundation for kindergarten success.
At Beginnings Preschool in downtown Bend, your child will be taught by two highly qualified teachers. Sally is the owner of Beginnings Preschool. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience. She is a master Instructor of other teachers in the state and holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Oregon. Teri has more than 20 years of teaching experience and has taught in Bend public schools. She holds a BS degree in Recreation & Leadership from the University of Idaho.
Meet the Teachers
Pre-K
Pre-K is our 4 and 5 year olds. We offer two different class schedules for Pre-K. A 3-day week (Monday – Wednesday) and a 5-day week (Monday – Friday). The 5-day Pre-K get an extra day of science class (Thursday) and cooking (Friday). The hours are from 8:30-12:00 daily.
Preschool
Preschool is our 3 year olds. We offer a 2-day week only (Thursday – Friday). The goal is to introduce them to learning and socializing which will make their transition into Pre-K easier for them. The hours are from 8:30-12:00 daily.
